I think it is Bible
If you are not sure that a thing is right, let it alone, for it will be sin to you.
If there is a doubt in your mind, no matter how slight, that something may not be right, then you shouldn’t do it! If there is a doubt, leave it out! He says that “whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” This means that regardless of what you do in life, if you cannot do it with faith in your heart that it is right in the sight of God, it is a sin to you!

Sin faith defines our relationship to God and sin breaks it, the sentence reads true.
