How can I hid the marks from where I cut so that no body finds out and if someone does find out, what is a good excuse that I can use?

Please note that I USED to cut. And I wouldn't even really call it cutting... more like scratching because none of them went deep enough to bleed. I only "cut" for three days and then I stopped because I realized I was being stupid and had to stop. Any serious advice you can give would help me greatly.

If you only cut for three days, it probably won't take much time for the cuts/scratches to go away. You can wear long sleeve shirts, a ton of bracelets, or wristbands or something. If you have a type of concealer or foundation like the girl above said, that might help too. :]

And when you say "used to", how long ago are you talking about? I think if you get a cheap cream for healing scars, that should take care of any little problems, especially if nothing went deep enough to bleed.

I don't know exactly where you cut but maybe you cover it up with foundation make-up. It all depends if you want to tell the truth or not...the truth always sets you free and your real friends will be confused and more than likely help you. Anyone else just ask them, why do they want to know??? Then don't answer them....Please take care of yourself because they say cutting is a way for attention but like anything it could get out of control and you could end up in the hospital for doing something you really don't want to do.
I wish you the best of luck...

get a good concealer make-up.

Blame it on the cat or a wire fence if you REALLY feel you have to explain. Maybe say "I'd rather not talk about it".. That would be true and you wouldn't have to make something up.

I'm glad you're not cutting anymore.

I would say try using powder or foundation around the marks.

Don't try to hide the marks. Just ignore them. Most people won't notice unless you draw attention to them. As for excuses: try saying, "I don't want to talk about it." OR try, "That's personal. Please respect that."
