I recieved some really good answers to the first part of my question. some truly rational explainations.
some however listed things that kinda surprised me.things that i thought could be explained by pschological phenomena.

however im back because id like to know more about ,

1.how would you go about setting up an experiment for proof of God.?
(one of you actually wrote a set up for an experiment on miracles but i thought that even proof that miracles could happen dont prove God exists.)
2. web sites concerning mathmatical proof of Gods existance -non existance

AGAIN how would a miracle proove the existance of God?
you say heal an amputee! lizards grow their tails back everyday! that doesnt proove God.( maybe man evolved to the point he grew back his limb) there could be another explanation.See? so what else?

Hmmm, proof is a tough thing.

I can say that witnessing a miracle, like the regrowth of an amputated limb, or the spontaneous creation of complex life would be sufficient evidence for me to consider the existence of god.

Edit:

Yes lizards regrow tails, but I am talking about witnessing a human regrow their arm now, not a million years from now when evolution might make it possible.

Proof only exists in math. I deal with evidence. Witnessing the immediate and natural regrowth of a limb for the species Homo Sapien Sapien, is nothing short of a miracle.

The only thing that can proove God exists is God him/her/itself. God would have to of course demonstrate powers of some kind. All knowledge, ability to create something from nothing, ability to be everywhere all at once, invinsibility, time travel, etc. This would sufficiently proove that there was a God. All these attributes God is usually given credit for, kind of remind of a superheroes attributes. I think God was one of the first superheroes.

Great question. I would accept any interaction God had that effected any of my five senses.

EDIT: Agreed with above-answerer. A miracle would definitely help.

A more interesting question, that is much more manageable, is what kind of proof do Christians accept for believing in God? What is enough for them?

One miracle would do it. He could heal an amputee.

Again, I don't know what this "god" thing is. I can't conduct an experiment if I don't know what I'm looking for.
