Yes, I have. I've used a prepared sugaring product (Moujan) and it was okay. My friend recommends Nad's.
The advantage of sugaring over waxing is easier clean up.
Either sugaring or waxing at home can be messy and you have to be careful not to heat the product too much.

I heard it causes more ingrown hairs than waxing, but I haven't actually tried it.

you can make it at home , mixing sugar, lemon juice . let it cook till it reaches a caramel color. pour it on a plastic bag and let it cool. better than waxing if you have long hair to remove. and free.i am mediteranean, we all have experience using it.

yes, i tried it, i didnt think it was very affective to be honest. i prefer shaving because waxing makes me red!

yes, i didn't like it, not effective, and pricey too. and it has a strong bad scent. i prefer waxing.
