I got caught cheating on a quiz in biology 12. I had some notes on a piece of paper and my teacher caught me, my teacher said i will no longer be considered for any scholarships or awards and my parents will be informed with a formal letter. He also said I would be expelled from the school if anything like this happened agian. I also had to fill out a form of what I did and it was given to the administration and principal, I know in the past other students would be taken to the office and had to speak to the principal. Their parents were sometimes called by phone to come in as well, but no one ever got a letter. I never saw the principal. What will happen to me and will I have to see the principal? Will my parents be called? Will the formal letter be mailed to my house or will they have to go to the school to pick it up? I regret doing this, it was only worth 5 marks, and I could have done the quiz without cheating.

Well, Cookie! this is one of those painful life-lessons you had to learn "you play you pay" or "short term gain for long term pain". But your last line is the most important one because it shows that you did indeed learn it. Now, I would suggest that you don't hide and hope it will go away, but grow up and take responsibility. Talk to your teacher, counsellor, principal and tell them what you said at the bottom of this question and perhaps they will put you on probation instead. I think owning up to it might make them a little bit more inclined to let you off with a warning, provided of course that this is the first and last time you would ever do something like this. Offer to sign an honesty 'contract' or...just ask what you can do to rectify this situation. Good Luck

Most likely you will get in alot of trouble but as for the letter it will either a. be sent by mail b. they will have to come in to get it or c. it will be given to you to give to them and it will then have to be signed and returned the next day. you may also want some advice.
never cheat again it is not worth it it will most likely get you know where even if you did get out of school by cheating and tried to get a job you would no know how to do any of the stuff.
