i filed my income tax with h r block. im waiting for it to be accepted so that it will then take 8-15 days?

question is how long does it take for the irs to accept your return from h r block for filing? they said to wait for the email confirmation......but i heard 48 hours but others have told me only 6-12 hours. any one else usethis?

Normally if a return is filed in the evening, it's accepted by morning unless there is a problem.

If you efile, the firm efiling your return should get an acceptance or rejection from IRS within 24 hours. If the return is accepted and you chose direct deposit, the funds may be deposited in your account in as little as 8 days. However, if you owe taxes on other years, student loans in default, or back child support; the refund will be delayed or offset to the debt.

We filed with H & R Block as well, and it took only about 24 hours before we got a confirmation that it was accepted, however it took 2 or 3 days before it actually showed up on the IRS Where's My Refund page and said that they had received it and were processing it.
