No, Starbucks coffee does not "stun" your growth nor does it stunt your growth. coffee does not stunt your growth in any respect. How tall you're relies upon on genetics. of course, in case you have been to outlive not something yet coffee (no food or different form of drink), issues might go down hill, yet having a coffee an afternoon shouldn't electrify your growth. My 6'5" brother has enjoyed coffee provided that he replaced into 2, and he did not have any problems together with his growth. it somewhat is purely an previous different halves tale mothers and fathers tell toddlers to maintain them out of the coffee pot.

Even though coffee doesn't stunt your growth, it's not the healthiest thing to drink, which is why pregnant women and people concerned with health avoid it. It causes irritability, nervousness, and sometimes stomach discomfort and insomnia. It also causes dehydration because it's a diuretic, and if you do drink it, you should add milk to offset the interference caffeine creates with calcium absorption.

No, coffee does not stun your growth. I was trying to find an article I read about this but was unable to. I do clearly recall my nutrition professor talking about this and she did say it was a myth. Coffee is actually very good for you, in moderation.

Happy drinking. =)

I've been drinking coffee for a while now, and grew to be 5'10"....for a woman, that is tall. So I'm going to have to say no. It does not stunt your growth.

I've been drinking coffee since I was about 6 years old. I'm 5'9" which is tall for a woman. No, honey, that's a wives tale.

first off some of my friends says yes! coffee stunts ur growth except for one friend who's uh...how do i say? very sciencetific

i asked her once (last week what a coincedence!) and she said "No! it doesnt' that's just stuff people make up!" I was very surprised

I know i'm undecided, but I gotta say I would go with my teacher (well she is my teacher!) and my friend who is scientific found information from a book.

It's an old wives tale. The only thing that will stunt your growth is an imbalance in growth hormones. Your height is determined by your genes.

I thinks this is an 'old wives tale' that was told to children to scare them so they would not drink coffee.
