Lol... SOme of the ridiculous answers!

OK. First of all it depends on what you believe, personally, being a Catholic and also not a total idiot and blind to fact, I know that evolution is real. Now, you can say that evolution is merely a tool of God, that is fine. That is not at odds with religious teaching that God created everything. In fact, some people say that evolution is so amazingly intricate that somthing like God must be behind it.

There is no "why" as to the evlution of viruses. Basically, about 4 billion years ago, different molecues started randomly forming chains of proteins called amino acids. Over time, applying the Darwinian maxim of survival of the fittest, the best and strongest chains of these amino acids survived. Eventually, through random occurances, these simple molecules discovered how to replicate themselves by combining in different ways to form RNA. (DNA is a further evolved version of RNA)

Viruses don't have DNA, they have RNA. The reason for this is that Viruses are one of the most ancient lifeforms on Earth. We have a common anscestor with viruses.

Viruses evolved from these chains of amino acids called RNA. the chemical constituents of RNA caused chemical reactions which created a thin sheath of protein around the virus to protect the RNA inside.

How viruses used to work, was that they would attack a bacterium, and inject the RNA into the bacterium. The RNA from the virus would reprogramme the Bacterium cell and tell it to produce more bacteria RNA, very like a modern computer virus.

Viruses aren't always bad, just like bacteria can be quite helpful. Not all viruses affect humans at all, and many only affect harmful species. WIthout viruses the populations of many species would be uncontrollable, and the ecosystem would have crashed a long time ago.

Whether or not you choose to beleive in evolution however, is a matter for yourself. I think you can believe in evolution and God at the same time... The catholic church does.

Yes. All Thing's were created by Him, and for Him, as it is Written in Colossians. Each creation was perfect in it's original created form, and had a perfect purpose in God's Providence, but The Fall of Man cursed, and corrupted, and changed everything.

Its the Devil. The Devils Job is to kill steal and destroy. 1/3 of the angels(now known as demons) were kicked out of heaven with satan. sickness is the work of satan and his demons. Check out where in the Bible Jesus cast out a devil and the person was healed. Drugs are not the answer. Jesus is the anser for ALL healing. Why? sickness is a Spiritual problem affecting the Body. So when you name a sickness or disease there is a devil behind it driving it. Drugs? well they are just devils to....one devil goes in and shakes hands with the other devil in agreement to do something that will result in the mutual destroying of the body. So how do you win? By the Blood of Jesus. By Jesus stripes you are healed. There is only one way that healing was ever given as to a set of instructions to get it as in deailing with other people(not going to the hospital). And that was to call the elders of the church and have them pray. Its by trusting Jesus and Him alone that you should be getting healing and being set free from any virus or sickness.

if all viruses were created in the beginning then why do we all need a different flu shot every year. because the virus evolves. it becomes immune to the anitbodies that we build up against it.

God never created even one virus. You know God wouldn't create them nasty things. They were created in dog poop. That's how they were created then a dog licked it's butt and licked a child's face and got them spreading.

you cannot even start with the assumption that a god created anything. that is unproven.
