Do you mean Avatars? Atars is a classification for planes in the US military- like F-16's.
Avatars are like gods though, and I bet that is what you meant so I'll try to help you somewhat- I'm not sure if an answer can be more than a page so I'll try to give you a "skeleton" answer that you can fill in with more details.
All kinds of cultures define gods or god in different ways. You could research various cultures and briefly write about the history of the various gods in history (like the Greek gods, Roman Gods, Buda, Christianity, Paganism, Muslim, and so on... ). I bet that you will find so much information that you will have to actually find way to cut down your first paragraph (for instance, even just looking at the Greek gods, you could write an entire paper on Hercules, Zeus, O'Hara, and so on)! I suggest that you just summarize who they were and what time periods or cultures they represent (and ideologies if you can manage to squeeze this into one paragraph).
After you find a way to summarize all the various gods in history for the first part of the paragraph, then you will have to do the same with Avatars (people who have been worshipped like gods or stars). Avatars are also defined as people who follow certain virtues that are difficult for any human being to abide by all the time. There are so many stars and possible Avatars that the second paragraph is even more difficult to write than your first unless you have been instructed to write on a particular detail or issue regarding Avatars in general. You may just want to look up several definitions of Avatars, describe them, and give some examples of who you think are Avatars in history and at the current time- and explain why you think they are Avatars, based on what you learn from the definition of an Avatar.
When is your paper due? Gods and Avatars could be similar or different, so could you ask your teacher it it is okay to separate these two topics into two different paragraphs? Just my opinion, but a two page paragraph is a bit large for two topics that could be either related or unrelated. It would also be better if your teacher could get your class to start with a small introductory paragraph, or at least a sentence, and then write your two main topic paragraphs, and a brief conclusion of your two main paragraphs. By conclusion, I mean something like "gods have supernatural powers and often have been based on historical literature which people have not been able to prove but the people who believe in these particular gods still worship them in our current society; whereas, Avatars include historical characters, like Hercules, that may or may not have existed, and also real people, like rock stars and famous people, who certain people in our current society worship like gods".

i'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but, there is a book that teaches about the history of the stars, the constellations originally told the story of the bible..............creation, all the way to the birth and death of christ. but, through the years, and with the advent of astrologers, and greek mythology, etc, this was all lost. it's really fascinating though when you read it, as the bible says that all creation will tell of god.

None of the stars that I am aware of are named after gods. However most constellations are named after mythological figures.

I probably could, but I'm not going to. If it's homework, you need to do it yourself.
If it's a matter of research, Google it. Don't expect someone else to do your work.
