Yes, I do. I can't begin to imagine how much it hurts Jesus to see His creation reject Him and choose Hell. He wants nothing more than to have us with Him in Heaven, but some people think they're "too intelligent" to believe in all that "Skydaddy nonsense."

How can anybody with a heart not have compassion for those who will spend all eternity in suffering and misery?

It's difficult to have compassion because of what others have chosen to do. People don't go to hell because they drew a Go To Hell card out of the deck. They go because of their own, free-will actions. Whether they are Christian or not, most people know right from wrong so when they choose to do wrong and then suffer the consequences for it, why should they expect compassion from others?

Yes, as believer in both Christianity and Buddhism as teaching perfect compassion and perfect wisdom, I find that people who are engaging in thought or behavior that leads to hellish suffering, on earth or beyond, are not fully aware and free to choose otherwise.

They are either bound or influenced by sin or bad karma, sometimes to the point of losing control of their free will to addiction or demonic oppression or both. This is very sad indeed, given there is documented proof that spiritual treatment and prayer for healing, including exorcism to cast out afflicting demon energies, can free people from even the worst addictions and mental or criminal states of mind keeping them trapped.

Cases of Schizophrenia and even Pedophilia caused by demonic influences have been healed by prayers and spiritual treatment to remove the negative thoughts and memories and generational curses that created the unnatural conditions and addictions.

So there is no reason we cannot identify, correct, and heal all spiritual causes of disease death and destruction so that all forms of suffering can be prevented. The only thing stopping us is ignorance and separation from people who have the answers and the proof. So I have compassion both for those suffering in ignorance, and repent for those who place judgment on others which often keeps them from seeking the help they need.

Note: Some Buddhists believe that only the strongest souls are sent to hell to help suffering souls to be freed. As a Christian I believe Jesus descended into hell to save all souls over time and space. So even the souls who suffer there can be redeemed, while the evil influences are burned away. God uses even hell to teach us right from wrong so that we may all be saved in Christ Jesus.

They might say they do, but they don't. Simply by embracing such a belief, a person endorses it. In other words, if someone is going around believing, day in and day out, that others are destined for hell, there is something wrong with being okay with that, with being comfortable with that. They might say, "that's why we're trying to save you" but what that boils down to is this: they feel they need to save us from hell because they believe that hell exists and that we are going there. They don't have to believe that, they choose to believe that, and it's wrong. I don't see how someone who believes that other people are going to hell can consider themselves a decent human being. It is a cruel and condescending thing to believe.

And IF the "Rapture" does happen, while all the Christians are jumping for joy, the atheists of this world will be shedding tears of sorrow over the suffering of their fellow human beings, because they loved them enough, in life, to reject a belief system that endorses human suffering.

Don't think for one moment that Jesus wouldn't notice that, and don't assume that he'd be taking the Christians anywhere.

God even has compassion on people going to Hell , In the Old Testament God says, " I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked"
sooo we should have compassion & do everything we can to prevent people from going there.

Yes, I do have compassion for all of us sinners. We are all sinners and God Loves us all. We don't know who will go to hell or not. God is a forgiving God and I hope and pray that no one goes to hell. Pray for all the prisoners, as they suffer from the sins they have commited. I hope no Soul goes to hell. God Loves us all.

For the non-believers, yes. I hope that they can learn to accept Jesus.

For the true blue sinners, the ones that have no qualms about doing evil day in and day out, no, I really don't. I feel bad for them, but I know that not everyone can be saved, though I wish they could be.
