Tip. 15-20% of the order total. Drivers rarely get paid minimum wage.

If it's just one pizza, a tip of 2 or 3 dollars is in order.

I think you should tip them its the right thing to do and if you were that pizza guy wouldn't you want a tip that's what some people live off of until pay day so I guess my answer is yes I think you should ,?and can I get some of that pizza?

You tip him. I usually tip about 15% unless the pizza's cold or the delivery is really slow. I used to be a waiter and the delivery guy is also a type of waiter. They deserve a good tip for good service.

you can choose to tip him. some places give the driver 2 bucks per delivery. but some are cheap and dont give him any money. i usually tip the guy a couple bucks afterall they are doing me a service(bringing me pizza and not making me drive when i have just commuted) so yes tip your delivery driver.

i believe in USA they (delivery/service people) expect a tip 10-15% i think.
in the UK we dont really hold to that, we pay enough for the fat ridden meat they deliver or the burnt, cold clammy pizza that always arrives with the wrong topping or the chips missing.
the normal approach is to tender a note of the realm over the value of the pizza/kebab price and tell them to keep the change.

They expect a tip. I will tell you that in the Houston area, the pizza delivery is at least $5.00 more than if you picked it up yourself. That makes "free delivery" a lie! Where does that extra $5.00 go - to the driver? Makes you wonder. The delivery person gets a salary AND mileage for using his own car. It is at your discretion to tip. I make a salary, too, get NO car allowance and no one tips me for teaching their child daily!

You should always tip them. They don't get paid much more than minimum wage and they depend on the tips. You should tip like you would if going to a restaurant...afterall they drove to your house and brought it to your door! And most places give them a small amount for gas (I'm talking about 30 cents a mile) but they don't usually get anything as far as tips go from the restaurant and that 30 cents doesn't make up for wear and tear on their cars.

You need to tip him. The total for your pizza includes: cost of pizza, tax and sometimes delivery fee.
The driver is responsible for recovering those above mentioned items. Anything above that is a tip for his service. (ie: doormen get tipped for holding open doors, waitresses get tipped fpr making sure your meal is enjoyable and that you have everything you need to enjoy your food.)

I always give the delivery guy/gal a tip, no, they don't get a tip from the order money. I tip 10%-15% or more if they came far or in bad weather.
