Try It's a 10 leave in conditioner. Its light and it straightens my hair enough, its not stick straight, but my hair is not frizzy, and it doesn't look oily. It looks as thought I have straight hair with volume. You should spray it on your hair when its completely naturally dry and brush it with a brush, or a boar bristled brush. Hope this helps.

After getting out of the shower, blow dry your hair straight, you should use some straightening product, too, if you have some. Once it's mostly straight and all dry, straighten your hair with a flat iron. Use a ceramic iron. It works better and damages your hair far less than a regular flat iron. Make sure you use a heat protectant product, though, which will help protect your hair from the heat damage styling your hair does. If it still looks too poofy, loosely twist it back in a clip for a little while. Good luck!

i have very curly hair as well. it's good you dont straighten your hair every day. i suggest straightening it at night and sleeping on it because it clams down a bit. personally, i think you should leave it natural. take a shower in the mornings and dont brush it, it will get too frizzy. if you want, use some product when its wet. any kind of serum works really well. play around with it. youll find a way that works. you can also braid it in the back or something like that. good luck.

I have heard that if you use hair conditioner, you know a good amount in your hand, rub hands together and rub all over your hair after you wash it,.then run a comb through your hair. This should relax your hair.(don't use a hair drier) Keep combing it every so often till it dries on its own.. If you do this it won't look poofy.. Good luck

get a relaxer. it might help, i know where you are coming from, my hair is naturally wavy, but its moor poof than wave. i straighten it every day though! it looks great, but i have a few split ends, i gotta get it trimmed. just never straighten you hair if it is wet. that is a major no-no. lol. once a week is nothing, your hair can handle it! :) hope this helped! :)

While it is straight brush it alot , when its wavy use gel or hairspray. I heard somewhere once to take a dryer sheet and rub it on your hair to keep the static cling down if this is your problem.

same thing with me get frizz ease product the last step its supposed to make it go down. Sometimes its poofy cuz u need moisture or you have to much i'm not sure but get a humidifier or moisturer shampoo that should help. Also your straightner might just not be working for you anymore.

Track down the book Curly Girl. The main point is you need to stop using shampoo--conditioner alone will clean your hair (unless you need just a little shampoo at the roots.)
Works for me! That way, you can train your hair to be curly, and if you just HAVE to use the Demon Hair Iron, it'll be in better shape.
