Yes.
Fruits. Dogs will eat both fresh and dried fruits. Stick with apples, berries, bananas, and seedless watermelon. Don't let your dog eat too much! Too much fruit may upset your dog's digestive system

It isn't good for them to eat a lot of fruit, because of the citric acid etc. however if a banana is accidently eaten, it might make them a little sick, but not endanger their life. Human food in general is not good to give dogs, but some foods are much worse than others. I would say with the things that we put in them (chemicals/biproducts), in human food, its probably not smart.
If they do accidently eat one on the ground or something weird, and they start to not pass vowel movements or get sick, take them to the vet, chances are theyve seen it before and know what to do.

Potassium is good for dogs, but to much is not good.
Try to find all the vitamins your dog needs in a good dog
food. I wouldn't suggest you give him much bananas to eat,
and if you do only a small bit once in awhile.

most human foods are not good for dogs but i read all about fruits actually being ok for a dog to eat, my dog eats bananas and watermelon, it is actually good for them, their dog food has a lot of the same stuff as bananas...

Yes, they can. They open their mouth, then grab the banana with their teeth. Then they chomp the banana and swallow the pieces.
This is more common in Ecuador and The Phillipines than some other countries.
I could go into more detail, but let's leave it simple as that.

Yes, but beware. I gave my dog a little piece of banana when she was a puppy and she got wicked diarrhea and pooped all over the house. lol
