How about this: Did you ever think that you're too young to date and that's why your mom wouldn't like it? Despite what you think, she does have your best interests in mind.
Some people are going to give you the "age doesn't matter" line but they're probably young themselves and if they're not they're stupid and irresponsible for encouraging a 12 year old to date. Age does matter. I wouldn't trust you, at 12, to make good dating decisions, no matter how exceptionally smart or mature you were (or appeared to be). 12 is 12 and 12 year olds aren't emotionally and intellectually ready to date. There are no exceptions.
I usually tell kids to wait until at least 14 to start dating (15 is a little better) so you can see that I'm not some prude who tells people to wait until they're 18 or 20 to date. 14 and 15 year olds are much smarter, more mature (in relative terms) and more experienced than 12 year olds. No one can debate that. They're more prepared to deal with the perils of dating.
You are not unique or special. 12 year old girls before you have dated and many of them came to regret it when they got older.
I didn't even mention sex and the risks that come with it but if you're dating, especially older boys, it's something that will come up for you very soon. I'd hate to see you make a mistake and have it ruin your life. You're just not ready to handle things like this yet.
Look, I'm trying to help you here. Why rush into dating? You'll have plenty of time to do that in a few years. Are your friends putting pressure on you to do it? Are you trying to be popular? Neither of those things are good reasons to be dating at 12. Stop dating, enjoy time with boys as friends and then in a few years start dating again. There is NO RUSH. Believe me, boys will still want to date you when you're 14, 15 or 16. You'll have no worries in that department.

Screw you lupin just because 14 year olds are older than us doesnt meen there smarter or more responsible. I can confidently say that more 14-year-olds get pregnant a day than a 12-year-old.
