I am always attracted to the bad boys even though i know that they will not be with me the way that i want them to be? Im a girl that does good in school and stuff like that. I had a boyfriend that broke up with me after we were dating for about 6 months. I thought that i was in love and i thought that he loved me. Well i ended up sleeping with him because thats what he said that he wanted and i wanted to make him happy. I was a virgin and he wasnt. He broke up with me soon afterwards. And i am still attracted to the bad boys but im tired of being hurt. Does anyone have any ideas of how to stop being attracted to the bad boys?

just try to find a nice guy that wont use u for sex..there are alot of nice guys out there..although there is alot of asswholes too

Sorry but you cant change it. I am 26 and still attracted to the bad boys. After a while you will began to see with in the first month if there is a soft side to them. My friends call it hard on the outside and soft on the inside.

Women are attracted to "Bad Boys" because they are perceived as being aggressive risk takers, and our evolutionary history shows that risk takers usually end up as good providers. So based on millions of years of evolution, you and many other women seek out aggressive and exciting men because they will usually end up as leaders and conquerors. But, of course, leaders and conquerors often do not limit themselves to just one woman. They use their abilities to gain wealth, power and to spread their genes as much as possible.
So basically, you can't "stop" yourself from being attracted to these men. You just need to understand the nature of the beast. But if what you really want is a regular Joe that wont cheat on you and will be home most nights, then you need to hook up with someone that may not be very attractive in your eyes.
