and at the point which he choose to create the universe, because he knows everything, including the future, he gave the universe its initial conditions, set it on an unbreakable pre-determined future, making us puppets on his strings, the existance of evil and sin is blamed on 'free-will', which does not exist, which is the first of many reasons i've proven to myself that god does not exists. what do you think? (this is just a summary)

by the way, if you try defend free will, please support yourself.

Free will is an interesting concept, but I've never seen it proven. God knowing the future does not say he controls it, just that he knows what you will choose. In any case, threatening us with hell takes away any chance for free will, if we had any. If someone holds a gun to your head and says "Give me your money or die!", did you give your money of your own free will? No. Love me or go to hell? That is hilarious. How could anyone worship that? In fact, it's unlovable, and therefore satanic. I've often wondered if satan wrote the bible just to lead us astray. Obviously, he did. If you are to know God, you'll have to know him personally, not through the experiences of others.

I think in making your decision to not believe in God, you simply encountered bad theology and figured that atheism was a better logical alternative. I don't believe in free will, either, but that doesn't mean God doesn't exist. It just means that we need to take a look at this a little closer to see if something else fits.

Have you taken a look at Calvinism? The "puppet on a string" analogy is a misnomer and not at all what that theology teaches. It might be worth a look before you totally throw Christianity out the window. It's a pretty humbling look at man versus the omnipotence of God, and it makes free will into something that is not at all to be desired.

I think you're wrong.

We have a choice to love God or not. God knowing what we will do does not negate our free will.

God knows all because time is not an issue for Him. He sees all at once...he does not live in the present with a past and a future. So, he sees that you do or do not have salvation. But it is still your choice. He allows this, even when he sees that you will hurt him.

God is too big for you to figure out.
Trying to grasp Him intellectually is like a thimble trying to contain the ocean.
""For since in the wisdom of God, the world by its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message of the cross to save those who believe."

God knows everything and God gives us a choice: we can follow him and have life everlasting or not!! So God put things on the earth to test our faith for him!

Umbrella. God's will covers man's will like an umbrella. Everything works out for his purposes.

i don't think you or anyone else can prove that GOD doesn't exist. as far as free will,GOD gave us a brain . you make your own choices in life.it's your choice to believe what you want. it doesn't matter what anyone tries to prove to you,or me,in the end we will make up our own mind.
