so i saw him at a restaurant one day and my friends gave him my # when we left the place and he's been calling me and asked me out. problem is, today he asks me these exact words "so i was just wondering, my friends were saying you were really big, but i didnt think you were that big? Are you? Like, what do u look like again?" THATS WHAT HE SAID! He's not skinny and not even that cute. I am NOT that skinny either, i weigh like 190 but i do play soccer so its not like im huge or something. im comfortable in my body and im just freaked out now to go on a date with him cuz i feel like im going to feel really selfconcious around him. what should i do? i dont know him and he acts like he likes me but i dont want to get my feelings hurt or anything and since he is so blunt, what if he does come out and say im fat or something! ugh... im so confused about why he'd say this. just pllllzzz help!

Well if a guy isn't willing to meet with you and get to know you for who you are and not let your size be an issue, then i would just say it is your loss pal.......... Everyone deserves a chance at happiness and if you are comfortable with yourself then you don't need a guy to bring you down, don't go out with him just tell him you have had a change in thought and think he should meet someone else. Don't let it bother you and be yourself, i am about your size (by the sounds) and i am comfortable with myself and i have never had a problem getting dates with anyone.

I would never subject myself to a date with someone who spoke to me that way.I'm sure you don't need a date that badly and the way he spoke to you was very rude.
What does it matter what you look like? Your personality and the person you are is what should count.Too much ermphasis is placed on looks nowdays and not enough on who the person is.Just be who you are and there will be lots of guys out there who will be happy to date you.Enjoy your life and your true friends and be yourself.

That was really really rude of him to ask you that. If he really wanted to go out with you then he wouldn't say that because it doesnt care what people look like. You should turn him down. Guys who do that always turn out to be jerks.

what i would recommend is that you go out with him now if he tell you anything about your weight than tell him off and dont feel bad cause that has happend to me and i went through it just fine. your going to be fine just take a chance it might be the man of your dreams.
