college is a weird time. the average girl you'll meet at noon, talk to and chat up at 3 and she'll come through at 8 and leave at 5 in the morning. and that happens to everyone, even me, and there's little romantic, aggressive or anything to me. I'm very weird and introverted. college is a time anything can really happen to anyone, and it's very, very, very hard not to take advantage of the opportunity. particularly if you're inexperienced and you're just in amazement that it just happened to you. so yeah you'll get a lot of those "one-night" deals.
you can get a long term relationship though, but they won't grow out of the "one-night", and believe me, you don't really want them to. chances are if you two can go a few months without getting into trouble and are seriously getting to know each other you may truly have something that will last throughout college, if not into life after school. good luck ...

Anyway, it depends on the girl and it depends on her mood at the time. Some will NEVER do one-night stands and some will on a regular basis. Some girls who usually prefer relationships will occasionally want a quick fling and vice-versa.
There's absolutely no standard here, each one is an individual case depending on her personality and current mood (this is pretty much the case with all things in all women, get used to it). If you try to put them all into one category, you're not going to be successful at all.

haha this is a funny question...well im a college student and i like long terms relationships..but my friends on the other hand they arnt really one night standers either but they have their realationship for like a week
