I did the Free File with H&R Block online, which i did last yr also, but i just got married at the end of 2006, so i had to put that on there, i filed married but separate because my husband is not a citizen and he is going to have to pay taxes and i did not want to lose my refund this year, well they ask for his SSN, he does not have one, he has a Tax ID for his business but i just left it blank and put on there that i couldn't put one ( cant put it if he don't have it) so they say your refund can be delayed if everything is not correct, so will i have trouble getting my refund since i could not provide a SSN for my spouse, even though i am filing seprate ?

You needed to provide a SSN or an ITIN number, he has to have one of those and it has to show on your return.

If he doesn't have an ITIN he needs to apply for one using the form W7 and submitting it with his return.

The W7 instructions will advise of the documentation that he is required to submit with the return

Not having his number will delay your refund
