There are two ways of looking at this.
(1) The actual source of life and creation, which as other answers state has no beginning and no end. Like numbers that go to infinity, if you add more to the beginning or the end, it is still an "infinite" set of numbers, so it does not matter where it actually starts or ends.
(2) God in terms of the finite perception of God that humans perceive in our minds, where does this God begin and how did this God evolve.
I think the only applicable questions and answers pertaining to God would be the second level, not God or the Creation, but how did human awareness of God and expression of this understanding begin and evolve and where is it going.
To answer that question, I would suggest using the Bible as a framework and reference to judge against the spirit of truth,
and then study all world religions, cultures, and even political systems such as the U.S. government to find out how our understanding of divine and natural laws has matured to where we are today and where we should be in the future.
All religions and systems are like different "languages" for universal laws, so together when all the research and knowledge is amassed and reconciled in the spirit of truth, which precedes the return of Christ, then all other mysteries will be revealed.
Adam and Eve represent the first lineage of humanity with the capability of self-awareness and conscience, and Christ's sacrifice and redeeming Grace allows spiritual development and maturity of the human spirit where we overcome the past and no longer suffer from selfish divisions and conflict that lead to disease destruction and death, but fully recover and heal so that harmony is restored between humanity and God, heaven and earth. Again, as humans we imagine by faith what the larger process is like beyond our world and our "perception" of God, but we cannot know except the local process we go through on earth that is a finite reflection of infinite mysteries of the divine.
Any question you have about the unanswerable can probably be examined in parallel with a "analogous" parable using the real world or our perceptions and relations in it. That is why Jesus and also Eastern religions use parables to explain spiritual concepts that are otherwise beyond our limited capacities.

If the universe is sufficiently complex that it needs a creator, then a creator itself must be even more complex than its own creation. Therefore the creator needs a creator.
Theists however fall back on a logical fallacy called special pleading that claims god has always been.
But ofcourse if god could have "always been" then so could the universe.

God is the Alpha and the Omega (the beginning and the end). He always was and always will be. His nature is described in the Holy Bible. It is very hard to grasp the concept of an infinite God with our finite minds. Keep reading your Bible and praying. The Holy Spirit will help you to understand.
God bless you!

Good question. It's best to just admit that the Universe has always been here in some form or another. Then you don't need a Creator and you can save your sanity!

Where's the proof that any god ever came into existence? Why is it so important to you to believe in something that doesn't exist? Grow up.
