You should go to counseling. They are always there to listen to you.

I'm really sorry to hear about your friend, that is so tragic.
It might be that your parents just don't know how to react to the things your going through. If they are older people they might be really old fashion and have old fashion morals. If this is true than i don't think you can change them.
You can mention maybe getting some counselling for your self and maybe they might be open to it. All you can do is try.
I feel for you sweetie. I with i could give you a hug and tell you everything will be ok.
Good luck and hang in there.

I don't know your parents so I don't know if they care or not. Some parents don't care about their children. Only you truly know if your parents love you. They probably do. But you need to be responsible for your own happiness. It is good that you asked this question. It is proof that you do know what to do. Now keep asking. Call your school counselor and ask for local help. Talk to the youth leaders at the church. Try to stay positive and make new friends. No matter what is happening in your life you are still a beautiful person who deserves happiness.

First of all, I understand what you're going through. The only thing is...I thought like that in like midddle school. The way you describe it makes your parents look horrible...and they probably aren't. I say you stand strong and try to get through it. The way I see it... If you haven't moved out yet... you're probably not that far off. You can handle it. I used to say to myself the day i turn 18 I'm out of here...I've changed my mind. When you get older your parents learn to respect you more. In lamens terms....deal with it. you're almost done. stop being immature. You can always enlist a sibling to have a talk with your parents for you...or stand up for yourself and defend your side. letters work too.

I'm deeply sorry for your pain. Can you talk to your pastor or your school counselor? I'm not sure why your parents acted the way they did. Get help through your school or talk to your doctor. Are you old enough to make a doctor appointment and go by yourself? Do your grandparents live nearby? I'm sure they can help you too. Take care of yourself sweetie. Hug. God bless!

It doesn't seem like your parents are going to acknowledge your distress so you should probably find somone one to talk to like another friend relative or a counselor. Just be strong im sure that things will work out for you.

It does sound as if your parents are remote. Are they drunk? Are they religious fanatics? Do they treat your siblings the same way? Do you have any grandparents you can rely on? Can you at least chat with people via IM without supervision? Good luck.

There are plenty of discussion groups or counseling groups you can go to, to discuss your depression. Parents are people too. They can be insensitive and they are obviously in denial. Move on with your life, move out, surround yourself with people who care about you

You need to talk to your pastor. He should be able to guide you in the right direction..If he doesn't then go to a school counselor.. You have to really listen though and accept their advice... I will pray for you and hope you find the help you need.
