so there's this guy in one of my classes.. and i'm a sophomore. he's a junior. i remember seeing him in the halls when i was a freshman and admiring him from afar. Now that we have a class together, i want to turn my admiration into maybe something more. Conveniently, we sit next to each other, but we only talk on average once a week. it's really aggravating because i like him a whole lot, and i'm scared to start conversations. last week we argued about which numbers were "cooler" than other numbers. it was fun.. but then we didnt talk for the rest of the week. today he finally spoke to me again.. just out the blue.. about some movie. and i kinda put my foot out into the aisle today, and when i did that, he put his foot out too. sometimes if we're doing something in class, he'll just ask me randomly.. even though he knows that subject isn't my best. i'm confused. what does he want?

He's into you, definitely. But I think that he's a little on the border line, and a little on the side that says that he likes you. It's obvious that he's holding back, most likely because he knows that you're younger and he can't come to the conclusion that that's okay. Don't worry too much. Just keep an eye open for time to chat, and don't give off the message that you don't like him in any way. Don't flirt too much, but make sure he knows you're interested.

Try to find a way to talk to him outside of class. In the hallways or at lunch. If you guys keep getting along, and he seems to like talking to and hanging out with you, ask him to do something outside of school. Maybe to a group thing first, to lessen the pressure. Then ask him out on a one-on-one date.

he probably likes u too its innocent flirting when neither 1 of u wants to make a real move to ask for a number or a date. nothing wrong with initiating conversation with him im sure he doesnt bite. if u never make a move and neither does he where will that get u...nowhere. u never wanna regret not doing anything, especially something so easy as starting a convo

Well, he must think that you're cool to be around or something like that.....it sounds like to me that you are both afraid of starting real conversations with each other because he keeps saying random things to you and you seem to be receptive about it. I think that he wants to be your friend or perhaps he may even have a crush on you. That's what I think.

He seems interested... you should just try talking about something to do with class (as an ice breaker) and move it into something else... also, try and find out what stuff he's involved with after school, and see if you can get involved with it too (if it's co-ed).

asking u random questions is his why of trying to talk to u because hes not sure what to say to u. i think. next time ur feet and feet are out in the aisle try nugding it and if he nugdes back he probaly likes u. if u want him to ask u out u just have to flirt a bit more and he'll probalby ask u.
