Looks attract me, but the personality will keep me.

I think initially when 1st meeting someone you are attracted to thier looks/body. Personality is important and usually you become attracted to a person based on personality if you've known the person for awhile.
Both are important. If it's dating / fun and not serious I'd say looks may override some peoples choice but if it's something I'm thinking about getting serious about they have to have a great personality. I have to LIKE the person I'm with not just be attracted to them.

I look at this way you could go out with the hottest guy in the world and he is a complete dick or you could go out with someone that is not as attractive but have a great time together and hit it off great. It all depends on the individual person but I definitly go for personality!!!!Whats better being happy or having something to look at?

Looks generally attract you to someone and then you can judge the personality. But if you could only choose one, take personality. Can you imagine being with a gorgeous person and not being able to have a conversation with him or her? Or the person could be so dull, arrogant, overly opinionated, etc. Especially if you are going to marry the person, make sure you can get along!

personality, you base anything on looks. the sweetest person in the world, the person that is absolutly perfect for you could be what some people find unattractive. so i always go for personality and the rest falls in to place, the better a personality the better the person looks.

Personality, for you dont want to wind up with someone who has some weird mentality of life. Its possible to get both just so you know

Combination..if you can't have both I take personality...
Better to enjoy life with a guy not so good-looking, than having a handsome next to you that makes your life misserable....

I go for who I can carry an engaging conservation with. I know it sounds cliche, but once you have a good emotional and intellectual connection the person gets better looking.

personality!
what's the point of having someone who's good looking but is a total jerk. i've realised this...a person's personality and inner beauty which is their true self shines on the outside. when you find someone with a good personality you can see how beautiful they truly are.
one more thing, "everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it"!
so when u do find someone with a great personality, u've found someone with the looks too.
