I used to raise birds and owned four Indian ringnecks. Two were a wild pair for breeding and the other two were tame.I had MANY birds and parrots were included in my menagerie.By far the best talkers were the ringnecks.Mine were only noisy when the were mad,and they do sometimes have a temper. They do not muddle their speech. It is very clear and they would say relatively long sentences such as Chester does not want to come out right now,and I want some pepsi.I never owned a Quaker so I cannot help you there, sorry.

I have an irn and she can be LOUD when she is cranky. So I thought they were loud birds until someone told me that quakers are louder! I can't imagine that but anyway.......

She doesn't talk but she mumbles a bit. Apparently the males are better talkers and better tempered as well - go for a boy.

Even thought she is a brat sometimes I really love my irn - she has so much personality - I wouldn't trade her for anything,

Quakers are very good birds, they can be very loud and very high pitched voices. IRN i have found to be excellent birds but, don't talk as well as the Quaker does. they are both good choices but, if you are wanting the one that can talk better then the Quaker would be my choice.

Yes. Quakers, when they are lonely tend to gte REALLY loud. and the fact that quakers are wild and roam the air, it will communicate with any bird it hears. I had 3 quakers at one time, and omg, hey were horrible. lol. IRN is awesome, i suggest one of them. and yes the do talk as much as a quaker, it just takes time and patience

hey, An Indian Ringneck (IRN) could be effective, they don't look an "professional chook" and also you've sufficient journey. :) i imagine you are able to deal with it. IRNs can make very reliable spouse birds, those i have seen are reliable talkers and were curious and actual were given excited. they are 'severe noise' birds. You do could save on genuine of creating particular they get interplay time with you so as that their tameness would not flow away. Quakers are seen to be the perfect talkers of the small parrots. they are very wonderful and really cuddly. they are 'medium noise' birds. i recognize those adult males. ^__^ Parrotlets i do not understand as a lot about, except that they are 'low noise' birds (like your budgies and cockatiel) and they can talk, yet no longer to boot. All 3 are suitable for someone along with your aspect of journey. I say flow for the only you want the most, which sounds like the ringneck. be particular to get a handraised chook. Like your birds you've already got, all 3 decision require a reliable sized cage (IRNs have lengthy tails so that you want to allow for that too), toys, on a daily basis interplay time, and a assorted food plan of veges and fruit to boot as their seed and/or pellets. reliable luck!

Well, I don't know about quakers since they are illegal in my state, but my IRN can be really loud when she wants to. She can also be really sweet.

As for talking ability, I would go for a male bird. They seem to be more apt to talk than females.

We have a Quaker and we've had a ring neck. The Quaker is quieter and does talk and laugh. Meows too.

Indian Ringnecks also need a lot more interaction to keep them tame. A Quaker is smaller, quieter and a better choice, unless they're illegal in your state.
