I am going to be teaching toddlers church about once a month. I have never done it before and don't really know where to start. Any topics, ideas, etc. would be helpful. Thanks!

I taught my sons class from 2yrs old to 6yrs old. We used the same program for toddlers as for Kindergartners because it's a small church and ages are incorporated.

For toddlers, do a lot of songs with props they can hold.
Keep the story short. Hopefully find picture books that can help explain the story.
Keep the craft simple. Coloring pages or paste already cut out pictures if there are enough adults to help so they don't eat the paste...
Provide building blocks or Legos to build the tower of Babel or other things.
Toddlers are NOT too young to teach. If you can get with the other teachers and have specific songs that you all teach they'll be singing them wherever the go...

Is there any particular reason why you shouldn't teach toddlers about the important details of Republicanism? Or socialism? Is it ever too early to expose your children to your personal political beliefs?
Isn't faith, like politics, something that one arrives at with maturity and personal reflection? Telling children scary stories is child abuse.

Usually toddlers is just babysitting them during service, that is kind of young for teaching.

You should be investigated for child abuse, you are trying to brainwash these innocent little ones into your evil cult.
And I mean that with whole-hearted sincerity.
Child indoctrination is a terrible form of child abuse. Wait until they are old enough to understand, then maybe they will realise how stupid your Bible is...

you can read them a story or you could teach them the sounds of letters, or you could even ask them to draw.

Teach them some good old-fashioned intolerance. Maybe something from Leviticus. Or that whole "If you're not with me you're against me" BS from Jesus himself.

Show them the correct way to pray. Posture is really important for getting your message to God. Or maybe a lesson on how to clean away their sins. That way they can pair up.
