What are fun things to do with a boy on a date in a small town?

We're in a tiny town in upstate New York and will be hanging out later tonight. I wanted to plan something fun and random to surprise him with, but have no ideas. There aren't any good restaurants, or places to sightsee. It's freezing outside. What are creative ways to entertain him?

Since you're stuck at home, why not play some monopoly (or your favorite board game) or put a puzzle together.
