Because Jesus said "Where two or three are gathered together into My Name, there i am in there midst."
(Matthew 18:20)
I experience this on a regular basis, the palpable presence of the Lord Jesus, by the revelation of the Holy Spirit, when his people gather together in faith to honor Him and seek His face.

I go to worship Jesus. It is nice after a week of work, trials and struggles with family whatever to be able to come to a place where people who have the same love of Christ can sing and just appreciate God. Usually our Pastor has a very good uplifting sermon that teaches us about living the Christian life. Plus, we love fellowship with other Christian friends. It strengthens one for the days ahead. Also, it gives me a chance to maybe help someone in the Church who is having a problem to give an encouraging word or a pat on the back for a job well done. We interact with each other.

I go to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
I Love Jehovah.
Even in this wicked world my knowing Jehovah, and all that he has done for mankind, brings me joy. I learn so much about his purpose, and his promise to restore the earth to paradise
Rev 21:3,4 "Look! The tent of God id with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear form there eyes, and death will be know more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. the former things have passed away."
Rev21:5 And the one seated on the throne said: Look I am making all things new." Also he says: Write, because these words are faithful and true."
Jehovah gave to us undeserving humans the most precious gift of all. His son Jesus Christ. And all that he ask of us is that we serve him with our whole heart, whole mind. How little is that to ask. He even does not force us to do so, but gives us free will.
1John 5:3 "For this is what the the love of God means, that we observe his commandment's; yet his commandments are not burdensome."

Mostly for the music, but it's also a great way to meet single women, like Mary Magdalene, the Virgin Mary (a.k.a. "Mary Wi' Da Cherry"), and that hot little brunette who teaches the Bible Studies class...
By the way, I'm answering this with 100% sarcasm, just to keep things in balance.

I go to worship with other like-minded people, to be encouraged, to encourage others, and to learn more about God and grow closer to Him. Could I grow without church? Of course, but God gave us the church setting for a reason.

I love going to church. I am not a holy roller or anything. I am Methodist. Our pastor give great sermons from the Bible. I believe in everthing the bible says. This is my decision, I don't preach to anyone or tell them what they should or shouldn't do. If you were my friend and said anti-God things, I just wouldn't be friend with you. I would not criticize you - you are free to believe in what you want.

To worship God and enjoy fellowship with other worshipers...
as you can tell Christians come under a lot of fire from a lot of people...it's nice to be somwhere you can take a deep breath and be where you are completely accepted while you worship...
you can lean on the other member's and be there for them to lean on too.....

Because it's what I'm used to. It isn't that I feel empty without it, nor do I feel that church attendance is a requirement for salvation. Rather it is just part of my weekly routine. Do I enjoy it? Sometimes. Do I despise it? On occasion. But it is mainly routine to me.

I used to go to learn about God and worship Him and I truly believed it was a good thing to do (I still believe this even though I no longer go :-)

I go to worship and give to God as Christians did in the Bible. Also to connect with Christian friends. It is refreshing and I learn and get strength to go thru the week.
