everyone is in love with him and he is my best friends cousin and ive known him forever but hes shy and i get real nervous when iever i talk to him but i wanna ask him to the dance coming up before one of the other girls do

so you've been best friends with him for awhile, you know what kind of stuff he's into, so talk about some things you have in common. Once you have the conversation going and then gently touch around the subject of the dance. don't pop the question right away, but make sure you ask him. the number one thing is DONT BE NERVOUS. or at least try not to be...... if hes and the conversation thing dznt work, invite him with u to go get pizza or something, im sure you will be able to talk to him when he is in a situation like that. and make sure you do this fast and before the other girls!

you don't really have that many options. just do the regular thing - mention the dance casually, and if he seems like he doesn't want to go, drop the subject and forget about it. if he seems interested, go on and ask if he's going with anyone. if the answer is no, make your move. say something like, "oh, me neither. maybe we could go together." if the answer's yes, & he is going with someone, you're stuck. don't lose hope though, it's only one dance.
