when measuring your hip, do you measure the widest part?

do u NOT go on to your butt/thigh area? or do u measure the widest part of your pelvis/thigh/butt?

For clothing, you measure about half way between the crotch and belly button, usually just above the top of the thighs and around the butt.

I measure about 1 inch below the belly button. That is my widest place and usually the middle of the hip.

yes, you measure the widest part which is your hip bones. they might stick out a little so that's how you can tell what they are. your pelvis is NOT your waste. just remember that.
