My wife told me her friend showed her a video of a family going camping and they saw a bear and the husband went up to the bear and the bear swung his arm and his head flew 5 ft but his body stood still twitched and fell to the ground, is this possible? If so please let me know how, does the bear have to swing his arm at 60mph? or can a normal swing knock your head off?

it would break your neck but to knock your head off it would need to first tear your skin around the neck otherwise i would hold the head on like an elastic rubber band

Yes a bear has actually been reported to have knocked a man's head off. He is so powerful and paws so large that this is something that he can do, very easily in fact. I don't think it is something that happens often, and I have never seen or heard of actual video of this, though. I would assume it would have to have been a larger bear, a grizzly is a safe assumption, or a kodiak.

uuuuuuhh.....yea bro, it can happen, bears are freakishly strong, they can knock over smaller trees, smash through car windows and tear the door off, all sorts of of crazy crap like that, if they swung their arm upwards and caught someone pretty good under the jaw the could probably tear off a head, and if not rip it off that kind of blow would at least snap ur neck in a split second......
either way i wouldn't try it on ur own, hahaha, have fun bro....

It'd be really hard to knock your head off. Ripping your head off isn't too hard, but I doubt it could just swing at your head and it fall off. That might break your neck, though.

Not possible. Your head could snap back and break, but it can't fly off from the rest of your body.
