No - The Bible does NOT say the earth is only 6,000 years old or that the universe is only 6,000 years old either.

I will defend my position by asking you: How much time elapsed between Gen 1:1 and Gen 1:2.

The Bible does not state this "gap". It could allow for the billions of years that the earth and universe have been around.

So, what is the answer? Are creationist right? Not entirely. Are the Aethiest Scientists right? Not entirely.

The answer lies in the Bible itself.

Not entirely. Nobody is sure how much time elasped from Genesis 1:1 up to today, in which I am typing. But I do agree that God created everything...

I lost interest after 15 seconds...I don't care if the world is 6 billion or 6 thousand years old. I'll only be in it for another70 at most. Time to concentrate on the important things...
