I am not sure one is any better than the other. It is all in your personal likes and dislikes. Cats are great because you don't have to take them outside in the bad weather, but dogs are a little more fun to play with.

Dogs are the greatest, most compassionate, loyal, and loving animal.

Dogs have been introduced into prisons, and the result is that violent criminals stopped fighting amongst one another.

When our dog died after 14 years, no one in our house could even speak for three days. It was like our own lives had ended, and certainly our lives were never the same again without that wonderful little doggie.

A dog is like a best friend who never says an unkind word, a companion who never gets bored with your company, and your most loyal and trusted confidant.

I think that a lot of people who have children (and soon regret it) should consider having a dog instead. I remember a hilarious line by comedianne Paula Poundstone: "My husband and I are thinking of either having a dog or a baby. We're not sure yet if we want to ruin our carpet or our lives".

If you have never had a dog, find one that suits your personality. I like intelligent, frisky dogs, but ones that are small enough to pick up.

A dog will keep you company. He will sit there while you listen to sad music on a rainy day, or run with you through the forest in summer. He's the perfect companion.

Well i think they each have there own pros and cons and also i like both but here is why cats are ( sometimes easier than dogs)
no need for freshwater while on vacation just leave the toilet up and fill bowl full of food don't have to take them to the kennel
They poop indoors so no more letting them out at 2;00 am in a blizzard to go poop
They are pretty clean
Don't get doggie smelling
Don't lick there A** all the time then Lick their Owners Face!!
Don't take food out of your toddlers hands
Don't take food off the table when your not looking
Don't cock its leg and pee on everything ( although a un- fixed male will spray)
Don't hump your leg ( Although we have a cat that humps the stuffed animals ?? and he is fixed?? remember Qlick yeah like that but a cat ))
Purr Don't bark at a leave or something NOT EVEN THERE
well there are a few!!

have you ever owned a dog...if you have you wouldnt be asking that question...i was a cat guy for decades, grew up with one, when it died i immediatly got another one...i love them and their company, kinda like having an animated stuffed animal, u know, play with it occassionally doesnt make a mess, its a comfort when your upset...but i got a dog 3 years ago and just got another, and dogs, well they are like having your best friend around all the time...its two totally different worlds, like them both, but the dog world is a lil more satisfying....
