Most Christians I interact with don't judge other religions. They may express their opinion as to why they don't agree or why they believe what they believe but they accept the right of each individual to make their own choices.

What in the world makes you think that Christians are judging everyone, obviously you know all the millions of Christians in the world, and they have told you so I'm sure, the only judgement I see here is the one you are making, I cannot believe all the ignorant statements regarding all religions that are made on yahoo answers by so many people,

I don't think "Christians" do believe that its ok to judge everyone of other religions and no one judges them. In fact, I am a Christian and I don't believe that anyone, no matter what they believe or don't believe, should be judging other people's religions. I know that some Christians do judge other people's religions, but that's ironically against Christianity to judge other people to begin with. People judging other people is more a situation of human nature than one's spiritual beliefs, so you should be careful how you yourself generalize people and they should do the same.

To the contrary, I welcome people who judge Christianity. The reason? The more they look into the Christian faith, the more they realize that there is profound truth in Christanity.

For example, C.S. Lewis (Chronicles of Narnia), was probably one of the most brillant minds of the last century. He was also an avowed atheist, and made many judgments against Christianity. However, the more he looked into the claims of Christ, the harder it was to support these judgments. Finally, he let go of atheism and held to the Gospel of Christ. He wrote about it in a book called "Suprised by Joy". Why is the book named that, because when he became a Christian, that is exactly what happened.

the other religions go by a different book then the Bible- so as Christians we feel they are not right- I do not necessarily judge other religions, I just think that some of the things they do are silly- and if I may add; so are some of the things so called Christians do! like the pagan holidays they celebrate in Gods name- wow- if they would read their Bible they would see He does not like that!!!!!! as for someone judging me- I have but one judge and aim to please Him!!!

Jesus tells us the world will hate us.(John 15:18) If this isn't judging us, I don't know what is. Christ tells us to "judge righteous judgment" -John 7:24. To differentiate between good and evil is basic to Christianity. If something IS wrong, a Christian is required to speak against it. We are not sheep, and cowed by our religion, we are in fact, empowered to do GOOD by it.

I, really, really, really, don't know why some people keep saying that. I can only assume that you don't like Christians.

I'm a Christian, I hang around other Christians, Catholics, Jews and never heard any of them speak badly about any other religion. Many of my friends are Christian like I say and at least half of them, I couldn't even tell you what church they go to.

But if you are talking about on here, well I see why you say that. But look at the questions they are asked. And how many times they/we are told we are stupid.

And then anyway why is it that girls ask such questions, is it a girl thing?

Why do SOME 'Christians' think it's ok to judge everyone of other religions, but no one should judge them?

because SOME self-proclaimed "christians" are self-righteous power mongers

Maybe because Christianity is practically the biggest world-wide religion, and is regarded as the 'default' religion...other religions are usually compared to it. That's just the way it is.

Look at our American culture-its totally worked around christian holidays : lent, easter, christmas...because the vast majority of people believe in christianity.
