Why do some people believe, satan controls over gnostic religion?

it is a pre-christian religion, even tho it is said to based on anti-christian religion elements

No, gnostic is not anti Christian, at least not in the sense of the anti-Christ. Gnostics had a different approach to how you achieved enlightenment.

Because people who make such claims usually "blame" anything that challenges their ideas on satan or as "satanic". It's easy to blame an exterior entity.
