prom is 2 months away, i asked my date today and she said yes, obviously. i kno her really well, we are like really good friends. what are somethings i need to do to get ready for prom(just me), and what do i need to do with her to get ready for prom?

Learn to dance, at least a little bit; at least learn to slow dance respectfully (one arm around her waist and one your right hand in her left hand and not to close). If she wants to be closer, let her set the barometer for that or you will come across as a creepy horny-toad.
Rent a tux, but first find out what color her dress is going to be so you can coordinate so they will look good together...when in doubt, ask her. Better yet, let her come along and pick out the tux. Can't go wrong doing it that way.
Buy a corsage the night or day before that matches her dress...when in doubt, ask the florist and they will pick it out for you. Safer with a wrist corsage than a pin on one as she or her family could take it as an excuse to be fresh and could be embarrassing. If your date says she hates it, you can say you didn't know what to buy and trusted the professional opinion of the florist...then you are off he hook.
