I had the a mild case of chicken poxs b4 I was 1 can i get again?

the health dept. told me that my son could...he had to get the chicken pox vaccine this year

yes if you are not exposed to it for a long time it can come back because it basically sits in your nerves and if you lose the anti body's you can get it again but more sever one form is the shingles.

i was always led to believe that when you have a bad case you cant but a mild you still could catch them

it depends on how bad you had them the first time. yes you can get them more then once.
