Because when you yawn, you are squeezing the glands between your eyes and your nose that store the fluid that creates tears. When you squinch your face up, the fluid is squeezed out and the only places it has to go are out your nose through the nasal passages and out of your eyes through the tear ducts...!!!

I do the same exact thing, and it's pretty annoying. i have no idea why it happens though.
