I know I should think of something myself...but this is tricky. My Grandma is turning 89 and I don't know what kind of message to write in her card. She basically doesn't want to celebrate because she is sort of depressed about being old and in pain...but I want to cheer her up somehow. Ideas?

tell her how grateful you are. remind her of all the good and funny times that occured and what else can happen. just make it heart to heart. hope that helps

My mom is elderly; I just made her a card with playing cards. On the front it said 'You still play with a full deck'. On the inside it said 'You just shuffle a little slower'. I got the idea from a craft magazine, so it's ok to use as long as you don't sell it. My mom thought it was funny; hope Grandma does too.
Or just write; I love it when we spend time together.

if you want her depression to fade then make your grandma to feel light... console her, make her laugh, make her birthday enjoyable. write a very touching message, say that life is full of wonderfull things and we must enjoy all of them

Tell her what you really feel about her and I'm sure its all good cause we all love our nans. Its the small things that count when you are that age, she would appreciate all the love you have to give her!
