Recently, it has become a phenomenon of the extremists to disguise themselves by wearing Bhurkas i order to evade and avoid capture so they can continue their evil deeds.
Now I concede that this does not stain all decent Muslims with any blame, and that these people are not "true" Muslims anyways.
I am curious to hear what you have to say on the subject.
Is it an offense against Sharia to dress as a woman?

A Muslim man is not allowed to dress as a woman.
also they're not even Muslims to care about Sharia, they're morons.

Well, extremists are always breaking the Islamic Law (sharias) as we all know and see it everyday. So they will do anything to avoid being captured.
Is it an offense against Sharia to dress as a woman? I think so.

Yes it is an offense. "Ibn Abbas narrated: 'The Prophet (S) cursed the men who appear like women and the women who appear like men.'" (Bukhari)
It is not required of the women to cover their faces.
What do I think of this? I think these people are a shame to islam. Extremists do not necessarily follow an extreme form of islam, but really a distorted form of it, with more emphasis on some things and less on others. In summary, they see and do what they want to do and ignore the other parts.

if its true about disguising themselves in bhurka, there is a chance that the men in bhurka might not be muslims, but anti-islam who's trying to portray a picture of muslims doing terrorism and violence.

well obviously they are not true muslims
muslims are not allowed to use violence unless for protection of ones self (self-defense) or TRUE protection of religion
and its also not allowed to kill innocents
i think they twist the words of the quran
but im not sure
and i think its against sharia law
and no muslims had answered cuz there are very few that are on this section of yahoo answers.

Dressing as in complete dress... Yes.
Dressing as in making themselves look like a woman for discyse... YES.
Dressing as in just covering the head.... maybe.
Covering the face.... no. I say no on this one because there can be people who cover their faces other then being terrorests. (example... too much sand in the air, a person having allergies, ect.)
That's what I think.

Hi there.. your question is very interesting. And in a way you are right. It is against the laws of Islam for a man to dress like a female.. And if any one claiming to be a muslim does so, he is wrong in his act. Killing the innocent is completely against Islam, so the terrorists who declare jihad or holy war are wrong in their actions.. In Islam one is allowed to kill in a battlefield... And jihad is not Holy war... it is basically self struggle against worldy temptations and wrong doings to become closer to Allah (swt)...
Also, the method of wrapping oneself in a bomb and exploding on a busy street full of unsuspecting people is considered an act of cowardice in Islam... One is supposed to attack an opposer face to face in a war according to Islam.. But, all these things are never noticed.. Only the wrong doers and their actions are.
So, yes dressing in women's burkhas is wrong...

It is forbidden for men to appear like women and vice versa...
but sometimes we have rule says:"Necessity allow banned actions"...but if u r talking about terrorist who kill civilians they dont care for souls (The most kept thing in Islam)..so they willn't care for stealing or wearing like woman
they use Islam as cover only and there hearts is devil hearts. i am talking her about terrorists,,,not Resistance...
