Gary I'm glad you brought up the word liberal. Jesus was as liberal as they come: long hair, preached about love and compassion and so on. I'm sick of hearing the word liberal like it is some disease. The disease is right wing, fundamentalist, fascists, my way or the higway, homophobic, racists, bacward thinking, ignorant, child indoctrinating, hypocritical, war mongering, rhetroic spewing, did I mention ignorant, paranoid, ultra conservative, people who have no respect for America, the Military, the Constitution, the Government, or our Forefathers who made sure we could live in the most free socity on this planet. My question was designed to inform me based on the little knowledge I have on evangelicals. I'm trying to learn.

Celebdua. I make this generalization, because the evangelicals I have learned about or came in contact with do not think global climate change is real (how is this considered "atheist" science) or evolution. They even "teach" their children this. These are two very proven scientific findings. Please don't say "evolution is only a theory". That just shows you have no proper education on what a scientific theory is. Relativity is a theory and so is gravity. One evangelical actually said "science is wrong". How is this question? Since SOME evangelicals think science is worthless, do they go to doctors?

A good question.
And do they ever get antibiotics? Because if they don't believe in Evolution, they should stay away from antibiotics altogether. They ARE, after all, designed to fight bacteria and viruses that EVOLVE from one year to the next. And Scientists track that evolution and try to determine the next outcome and act accordingly when designing new antibiotics.

Don't paint every evangelical with your same paint brush. Some not all, think this. Its not science that is worthless, its the way this Atheistic Evolutionist try to use their theories to say this is how man evolved and this is how old this and that is. But its nothing but a theory and then they conjure up all kinds of crazy things from their imagination to make it fit their voodoo science. I myself take the good and discard the junk science... to me science proves biblical creation, instead of disproving it. The problem is the preachers/professors/scientist of atheistic evolution, try to prove that God does not exist. For me if, these European evolutionist want to believe they came from Apes...more power to them.

The Apes are the ones who are insulted!

Where did you get the idea evangelicals think science is worthless? What is worthless is lies and using science to harm the less fortunate or unborn. Most people go to a doctor. You should calm down.

Why do people make generalizations about evangelicals when they obviously haven't researched it in the least?

Try talking to an evangelical doctor for the best possible answer. There are many.

edit: Now that you admit that you know so little about evangelicals, I wonder why you say they, "think science is worthless."

Evangelicals think no such thing....you must get your info from late night liberal 'drive by' TV media.

Most real science confirms the Bible. See here: http://everystudent.com/forum/science.ht...
More resources: Creation Resource Foundation: www.creationresource.org

Great scientists like Johannes KEPLER saw God's magnificance and constantly gave praise to God Almighty for his wonderful laws built into nature. He was a creationist.

So was Isaac NEWTON.......and he wrote 1 million words about his LITERAL belief in the Scripture. He was a creationist.
" I have a fundamental belief in the Word of God....I study the Bible daily". - Isaac Newton

The electromagnetic equations of James Clerk Maxwell attest to the Magnificant mathematical inginuity of the Creator.
He was a Creationist.

Actually, Christian scientists don't!

And its not that evangelicals think that science is worthless, its that they don't believe any science that contradicts the bible. Seems silly of me for them to be able to pick and choose (especially when they don't understand the science to begin with)...but they do.

So I guess the answer is "Yes", as long as the doctor doesn't tell them anything that goes against the bible.

Where did you get such a silly notion? Pleas provide one scrap of evidence supporting your assertion that evangelicals think science is worthless.

No, they usually spontaneously combust if they dare to go into the doctor's office, sort of like what happens when real punk rockers go to Hot Topic

They pick and choose their science, just as they pick and choose what parts of the Bible apply. Just watch the fireworks if someone else chooses differently.
