ANYONE EVER USE those WOLFGANG PUCK KNIVES?

DO U THINK THEY SUCKED ?? IM 21 AND IT WAS THE 1ST KNIFE SET I BOUGHT SO I DONT KNOW IF ITS INEXPERIENCE WITH KNIVES OR THAT THEY DO REALLY SUCK! THEY MAY BE EVEN WORSE THAN MY ORIGINAL KNIVES, ANYWAY LET ME KNOW WHAT U THOUGHT IF U EVER USED THEM!

Have never used Wolfgang's knives but I do have his Food Processor which, in my opinion, is even better than Cuisinart. As for the knives, Have you taken the "burrs" off the blades by running them through a knife sharpener. If they are not removed, a knife, no matter whose it is, will not cut worth a darn. Hope this helps some.

Most knives sold in American stores suck. I use ONE knife for everything in the kitchen, a Japanese houchou (pronounced "hoe-choe", don't get the ones made specifically for cutting sushi). The cutting edge is in a straight line, no curve, so it makes a great chopping knife. The blade is large enough to serve as a guard, so the cutting edge runs the entire length of the knife, no thick, unsharpened end like American and European knives. This one is close, but the cutting edge in this example is slightly curved, I prefer a STRAIGHT cutting edge.
