If you will give me proof of this one single thing that's all this little bitty thing? Well did he do it or not? If he did his miracle is even greater than Jesus. Even Jesus couldn't make the sun and moon stand still.

Ha.

Anyone who thinks this is possible doesn't know a damn thing about physics.

The tidal forces resulting from stopping the rotation of the earth and moon would have torn this planet apart.

Um, don’t you mean make the Earth stand still? The Earth revolves around the sun, you see.

Obviously it didn’t happen. I’ve heard some interesting theories about various things that may have caused the day to seem longer.

I think there are four choices.

Take it literally and ignore everything known about the Earth’s rotation.

Take it as exaggeration and just assume that detail isn’t the most significant part of the story anyway.

Take it as a story with a spiritual meaning that is not immediately apparent.

Accept the possibility of some other natural phenomenon that caused the day to seem longer.

Jesus is in charge of all nature etc. His is the creator and don't you remember the story of how He calmed the wind and the waves, "even the wind and the sea obey Him".

Joshua himself could not have performed this miracle because he is just an ordinary man.....it was through God.

I'm not sure if there is any proof that this happened but remember the story of king Hezekiah and how the clock turned back (sun went back in the sky). All kinds of people in the middle east noticed that, even the Babylonians

It's quite possible that a polar shift could be described that way. And that guy who said that the oceans would raise hell was right. They would come in on us if our spin suddenly stopped, or changed in any way suddenly. Think "Noah's Ark," without the rain, but lots of mountain sized tidal waves instead.

For proof of that, check out the frozen Mammoths they found inside the Arctic Circle. It was so cold when they froze that the contents of their stomach was still intact, which means that it was so cold that an elephant sized creature hit solid deep freeze in a matter of minutes, and stayed frozen until recently.

That means that the animal couldn't have been living in that area So how did he and his buddies get that far north, without a polar shift?

Regards,

Chris

Yes, since the Invention of Computers, Especially Super-Computers, they can and have Proven it.
Although they don't Believe GOD did it.
The Sun moved Backward so many Degrees.
They have Calculated the Orbits of the Planets with the Sun and RAN it Backwards. Years and Years Backwards. They Found that lost Time in the Calculations.
Read about it on the Web. Don't know the site now.
Hope this helps.
I cannot Prove GOD did it, I can only Believe it, of which I do.

It was not Joshua who mad it stand still it was God, of the request of Joshua.
Only true believers of Jesus Christ will have enough faith to believe it and trust every word in the BIBLE.
We don't have to know anything about physics or have great knowledge, just faith in a great and living God.

You should try it.
