The question defeats its purpose. A loss is a loss, if Rangers lost 5-0 to AC, would Celtic fans bragg about only losing 1-0? I would suspect the Rangers fan would make the point that Celtic lost also, losing by less goals is still a loss. Although I do agree it was a good effort.

Lets be honest,

Could rangers on current form beat AC last night maybe but they never qualified for Champs league this season due to there crap form in the start of the season.

As a Celtic fan it makes me mad that we are competing in big comps season after season but we will never win till we start to pay out for a world class striker.

we have a reasonable defence and a reasonable midfield but until we can score goals on a regular basis both home and away in Europe we will never amount to much.

The score should have been 4-0 only your jammy luck kept you lot in the game. Remember this is the team you wanted before the draw was made because they were the worst team that was left with the exeption of you lot. up the gers

Get yer act together and concentrate on your own wee diddy team.

Rangers are in the muppets cup this year, the Champions League is for the Champions.

Enjoy your trip to Georgia next season in the qualifiers.

Or Epl teams??? Could anyone honestly imagine the rankers fighting a team of Milans talents for 120 mins without conceding a goal.. no chance the gutless losers. and I'm sure our supporters in Milan will be raising a glass or two with the Milan bhoys as the world and their dogs know ......... we're more popular in Europe than American Express.. Hail

none.......... fullstop 10 times. Rangers?? no i don't think so. All we can do is take the positives from the game cause as a celtic supporter we are at that level just now. But hopefully in the summer we'll build on that by some new summer signings especially upfront to haelp hesselink.
