I am a doctor so I live for these questions. It is defintley orange juice try fresh orange juice(if you can pick em or juice it yourself). Orange Juice has more nuietrients and vitiam c.The main thing you want to do is stay hydrated by drinking plenty of juice - 100% juices & not "mixes". Get plenty of rest and of course have chicken soup. It really does help!!!!!! Some home remidtys are:
For dry and stuffy nose, try normal saline or salt water nasal drops made by adding 1/4 teaspoon of table salt to about 4 ml lukewarm water. Make a fresh solution every few days keeping it in refrigerator. Use a clean dropper to instill 1 to 2 drops in each nostril about 3 to 4 times daily for common cold .

Do not use medicated nasal drops without physician's consent as excessive use will cause chemical rhinitis with rebound block

Garlic juice made by adding few drops of garlic oil to a teaspoonful of onion juice and diluting it in a cup of water is helpful for common cold

Ginger tea or a teaspoonful of ginger juice taken with equal quantity of honey brings relief from common cold
Get better soon!!!!!!!

Go with orange juice it has more nutrients. As others have mentioned fresh orange juice is good. But orange juice not from concentrate is good. Since many apple juices are reconstituted many nutrients can be lost. Normally anything thats high in vitamin c is best used to prevent colds. Normally once you have a cold you have to let it run its course. OJ will of course help a little. Take you cold medicine...drink plenty of fluids and rest so your body can fight the cold. Take care.

Orange juice because the vitamin c will definately help your cold! Try picking the oranges right from the tree if you can, but if not then go to the store and get the sunkist oranges and squeeze them out yourself. The ones from the store will work too, but they have additives in them. GOOD LUCK!! Feel better!

Defenitely orange---but try to go fresh squeezed if you can. Apple juice is mostly sugar and extra calories--the OJ has more Vitamins. All natural is the best though:-) Hope you feel better.

Working for a doctor, I know that both are equally as good. The main thing you want to do is stay hydrated by drinking plenty of juice - 100% juices & not "mixes". Get plenty of rest and of course have chicken soup. It really does help!!

The OJ is so much better for you. Try to get freshly squeezed if you can. I just got over a cold, it goes away ALOT faster if you drink a glass of OJ at least once a meal.
GET WELL SOON!
