The best thing is to go to an ear doctor he is the only person or the only thing that is going to work for you, I know because I have been there and done that.

Because Ear Nose and Throat are connected and to clear sinuses you can eat a little horseradish on a cracker - see if that works.
If it were simply sore I would say to bake (or microwave) an onion and use the liquid as ear drops (you will need a shower after for both smell and film when it drips out)
other principle that may or may not help - Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas (natural muscle relaxers) daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.
Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.
The cure - start with a professional massage, (if this does not do it you probably need a chiropractor as well) you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).
For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

hydrogen peroxide. Lay on the opposite side of the clogged up ear and pour a small amount in your ear. Let it set for a few minutes. You should feel it kind of bubbling up; that means that it is working. After you stop feeling it bubbling up, take a paper towel, tissue, towel, washcloth, or anything else that is absorbent and sit up and tilt your head to where it will drain out. If it doesn't work on the first try, try it again. If after the second time, it doesn't work, you are going to have to go to a doctor; most likely an ear doctor. Good luck to you and I hope this helps.

I had the same problem and I went to this organic health store and bought some ear candles. Its like a piece of waxy paper shaped like a cone. You put the small end in your ear and you light the other end on fire. The fire creates a suction and it draws the wax right out. It sounds weird but it works.

Take a warm shower every day and the ear wax will not build up. This happens to people who take baths instead of showers.
