Why do you have to worry what other folk do, are you so unsure of your own beliefs.
Personally, after trying to find 'my way' and reading about most of the faiths that are active in the world, including some very secret types, for some 13 years.. I was amazed to find that true Christianity existed in my own community. I do not mean the Christianity of the State or the Major Churches, this one is in the community and walks the talk. You will find some near you.
A basic rule of augment = When you start throwing out insults, You have lost the argument.

Because I've become a better person because I live by christian teachings.
Look at the longevity of the faith. Look at how the words of God are proven every day.
Look at the love that TRUE Christians have for everyone. Just because many Christians are hypocrites doesn't mean they all are.

I'm sorry you feel I'm gull!ble.. er gullible. But I KNOW what I believe is TRUE. I hope one day you can know for yourself.

THE MEDIA TODAY WANTS EVERYONE TO HATE RELIGION ESP. CHRISTIANS. FOLLOW HISTORY--IT'S NOT AN UNCOMMON PATTERN.

what is to be gullible bout any faith/religion. If you looked into it with an open heart and mind, you would find a simple message.

People slag off religions because of three reasons. They are ignorant of its real meanings, they are afraid of any belief but their own ego. Or they havent really had the opportunity to try to understand what believe/faith is.

The Christian faith follows a simple plan. Love.
But the word Love scares some people.
They confuse Love with sex or sloppy rubbish.
But the Love in this message is in its simplest form.

And if it was understood more. the world could be a better safer place for the generations to come

Its easy to mock and take the mickey out of religious post, but thats just the human in each of us. But i would hope before they took the mickey they would actually have the courage to try to understand a little more.

ts not hard to understand religion really. But because its message is so simple. for many that makes it impossible to grasp such a thought process in life that could make all our lives more bearable.

It is a shame so many different religions ideals faiths collide and bring the human into conflict.

The true meaning is again i say so simple. it blinds people. makes them angry/annoyed dismissive.ect
And therefore the message is tainted and changed to suit their own goals and ends.

You can find/see this message. Its right there in your heart/mind
Its right there for you now.
Its called Love. And it comes in many shapes and forms.

And you could use its power anytime you wanted, Off course it wont make you rich famous or super model beautiful.

But it is worth taking a little time in this short journey of the human being to try to understand faith/beleifs.

The world is too full already of hate violence and ignorance. So it cant do no harm to to try to grasp a simple message about Love.

i think u have not met the right people to surround your life first of all and i think u have some personal issues of your own to address first

you are definitely confused to be thinking like this - but its ur opinion and must seem logical to you right now

i don't mean to be condescending. you must expect an honest expression of other peoples views when u come on here challenging and disrespecting what other people hold dear to them.

by the way i come from Ireland .... a place that talks a lot about religion

It's a personal choice. You seem offended at the thought of people thinking something different, why?
There isn't much of a point in trying to criticize a set of someone's beliefs. If they are a true Christian then they won't change their mind anyway, even if you say it's bogus, because to them it's not.

It's not a question of being gullible. It's a question of belief. I, myself am an atheist and place my faith in science, but i will not call those who are religious gullible. As I truly believe there is not a God, others will swear down there is. It's down to choice. As I chose to believe there isn't a God, Christians chose to believe there is. You can not call someone gullible because of a choice.

Julia, that is not the question at hand. First of all, I am a Christian, it's not really that hard to spell correctly, so you should give it a try next time..

The real question at hand is how can you be gullible enough not to be?
