In Word, go to Insert > Symbol and select characters from the character map.

You can use the autocorrect feature for words that you type often. Follow the steps above and copy the word.
Go to Tools > Autocorrect
In Replace box, type the "Americanized" version of the word (without any accent marks.
In With box, paste your formated version. Click Add and Okay
Every time you type this word normally, it will add the correct marks.

Hey, I'm a 8Th grader and i'm in Spanish 1, if ur under Microsoft word go under insert on the top, then symbols, and search through the symbols and you'll find the right one. there are also little key tips that u can search on line! hope i helped, good luck wit espanol

You would either have to change it to write in a spanish font or you could just "insert symbol" which would have various letters with different accents on them.
