My kitten is acting very weird... she is mowing at the sliding glass door and this morning she wouldn't hop up on my lap (like she ALWAYS does.) I haven't got her spayed yet.

Some kittens can go into heat at three months. The average age is six months though. You need to get your kitten spayed as soon as possible. Their health is usually improved and you will not have to tolerate their aggravating behavior. My kitten went into heat at approximately three months. It was truly awful. I must of had twenty toms outside of my house fighting while she was in the house trying to tunnel out with me trying to fight her to stay in. It was not pleasant at all. She went to the vet as soon as I could get an appointment. My vet told me that three months really isn't that unusual. Trust me, go now!!

6 months and up to a year (especially for pure breds). Females in heat are a real pain in the butt, so the quicker you get her spayed, the better.

specific, she's in all probability in warmth, and if she's been outdoors, it rather is probable that she's pregnant. call the vet and get a spay appointment interior the subsequent week or 2, until now she's too a techniques alongside.
