I suggest we ban the word from the English language. Too many people have difficulty differentiating between race, culture, ethnicity, etc. Exactly what purpose does the word serve?

there are no different human 'races' it is a myth. or rather, a social construct, where anyone who 'looks different than me' would be considered another race.

why not determine it by the color of one's hair? that makes as much sense as determining it from the color of one's skin

That would mean we would be the same race as just about every creature on Earth.

I would prefer to go with our species, as in HUMAN.

a persons blood is all the same color. it may not be the same type but is the same color. People should be proud of there race!!
