i downloaded limewire and when i go to search songs nothing happens. at the top of the screen there is this warning exclamation mark that says: only search results with a lock are an official limewire cinnection. what does this mean? can anyone help?

It may be a blocked port on your firewall (either Windows or your router or both). Try downloading BearShare (it's the same network as LimeWire) and see if you can search and download songs from there. Note: when downloading BearShare, only look for versions pre-6.0.

probably is a firewall problem but instead of bearshare which sucks *** as does limewire try using ares p2p http://aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net/ heres the link for it best p2p network out there an a lot nicer of a program
